学部4年時、セブで路上の子ども達とバスケットボールをしていると、親からの「子どもは確かに笑っているわ。でもTAKAと遊んでいるせいで子どもがお金を稼げないから今日のご飯がないの」との言葉をきっかけに援助ではなくビジネスを通じて貧困層の学生が自立し夢を応援することを決意。
